iPredator is a new Cybercriminal Psychological construct authored by Michael Nuccitelli Psy.D., a NYS licensed psychologist and certified forensic consultant. Under his theory, cyberbullying, cyber harassment, cyberstalking, internet trolls, online sexual predation, cybercrime, cyber terrorism, internet addiction, cyber deception and the severely disturbed are the typologies and arenas iPredator addresses. From a sociological perspective, iPredator describes how Information Age society has drastically changed, becoming more isolated and disconnected leading to a paradigm shift in violence, crime and deviance. iPredator and iPredator Inc. are recognized by the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute and a growing number of educational institutions, law enforcement, judicial systems and information security professionals. Concurrent with iPredator is Dr. Nuccitelli’s Criminology construct, Dark Psychology. Dark Psychology is the study of the human condition as it relates to the psychological nature of people to prey upon others. All of humanity has this potential to victimize other humans & living creatures. While many restrain or sublimate this tendency, some act upon these impulses. Dark Psychology seeks to understand those thoughts, feelings and perceptions that lead to predatory behavior.
